How to Get Rid of Emotional Weight - Carry a Heavy Emotional Weight and Lose Perspective

You have reached the end of this article because I have outlined three ways in which you can overcome the problem of carrying a heavy emotional weight. As you now have completed the journey on this journey, you now have a way of dealing with emotional pain. Emotional pain comes from the loss of a loved one, the rejection of a relationship or the trauma of abuse. It is a painful experience. To have that experience re-occur over again can cause a lot of wear and tear on our psyche.


If you have experienced a traumatic experience, you may feel like carrying a heavy emotional weight. The way I handle this is to remind myself that I am not the only person who has had a traumatic experience and I do not have to carry it alone. This is especially true if I have never had a traumatic experience in my life. I can now look at my past and see where I went wrong and how I can prevent it from happening again.

The second way you can overcome the problem of carrying a heavy emotional weight is to address the issue by moving on. I know this sounds cliche, but it really does make sense. Stagnating thoughts influence feelings and you will want to get rid of those thoughts. You can get rid of them by either changing your thoughts (which is the next step) or venting your feelings. If you cannot change your thoughts you can vent them by writing them down and then dealing with them head on, this again is a great way to get rid of the stagnant thoughts that can bog you down.

The third way I will share with you to help you lose perspective and get rid of the burden is to take a journey with me. A journey within yourself, a personal journey. You might be thinking right now that this sounds like another one of those things that women use to do to keep their men away. So what is a personal journey and how can it help you lose perspective and get rid of the emotional weight that is carrying you down?

It is all about motivation and if you are not motivated, it is going to be very difficult for you to accomplish the goals you set for yourself. If you have no motivation, it becomes easy to drift from one project to another and you will not get anything accomplished. You must be very committed to whatever you are working towards and have a lot of drive. This can be done by learning new information, taking on a new hobby, meeting someone new, spending some time with family or friends, seeking knowledge on something you find interest in, getting started with a new project or anything else.

One thing I will share with you today is that you can lose perspective and get rid of the emotional weight by just getting out there and starting to live your life. Sometimes you just need to push yourself outside of your comfort zone to accomplish something and this can be as simple as getting dressed in your pajamas in the morning or going to visit a friend for the night. You do not even need to do something extremely hard to gain motivation. Sometimes you can just take a short walk around the block or walk through the park and you will find that you have more energy and that you have more motivation.

Now in addition to learning how to get rid of the burden emotionally, you also need to learn how to eliminate the frustration and stress that often come with having too many stagnating thoughts. Stagnating thoughts affect feelings and they also affect motivation. When you have too many stagnant thoughts you cannot help but feel frustrated and you are never able to move forward with your life. The best thing you can do is to learn how to control your thought process and learn how to think positive. I know that this sounds like an oxymoron but is actually very true.

If you really want to make sure that you never carry a heavy emotional weight again, then it is time for you to take this journey and to really make sure that you get rid of this burden once and for all. It is possible for you to learn how to take your body back into your hands and learn how to make sure that you can never let this happen again. You do not have to go back to the way that you were before. It is possible for you to take control of your body again and you can start taking control of your life. There is a big chance that you will become stuck in the same situation again and you do not have to accept this.
