How Do You Realize Your Full Potential?

"Never let illusion become reality" is an old Chinese saying that is meant to inspire us to action and take a look at the big picture. In this world where the media, sports teams, politics and education is all about 'perfection,' it's important to realize that 'perfection' does not exist and 'being' doesn't equal to living. We all have wonderful qualities, but there are also flaws and imperfections in all of us.


When you really stop and think about this, it becomes clear that we all come with our own imperfections that we are all working to either overcome or hide. We each possess talents and gifts that are both great and terrible. We each understand and accept our inherent flaws, and still strive to do our best in life. But sometimes those differences between what we understand and accept as being right and what we know and understand as being wrong get in the way of achieving our greatest potential in life.

This is why it is important to maintain an open mind and be able to learn from our past mistakes and successes. We can learn from each experience and then apply it to our current lives. If we continue to do so, we will become better and stronger individuals who recognize and understand their great gifts and potentials. The great mystery of life, is how we continually grow and evolve. It's through this continual discovery and growth that we come to realize our limits, our uniqueness and our importance in this great world.

When we don't recognize who we are and don't have any sense of self-worth, it becomes very difficult to enjoy life and accomplish our goals. We need to believe and know that we are special and unique. We need to recognize ourselves as having dignity and worth and be proud of who we are. We need to be able to look at our shortcomings and be willing to work to correct them. The more we learn about ourselves, the more we can love and respect ourselves and others.

With all of this said, you may be asking yourself "Well how does realization differ from faith?" The truth is that realization is much more than simply believing in a God or gods. It's about becoming fully aware of your own worth, talents and abilities. It's about changing your behavior and mindset so that you are a valuable and capable individual, instead of someone who is looked down on, unwanted and undesirable.

So what is realization and how can we come to realize our full potential? The most basic principle behind realization is that all things begin with a thought. You create your thoughts, and from those thoughts, you create your reality. This is why it is essential to continuously think positively and have faith in your capabilities. If you have faith that you can and will succeed, then that is what you become. Nothing else is possible.

The truth is that no one else has a divine right to tell you that you are worthless, unlovable or unable to do anything worthwhile in life. That is not true. You were born a unique individual, and through your actions, choices and failures, you have the power to show the world that you are a valuable, capable human being.


So when we talk about realization, it is simply a step by step process. First, we must believe that we can achieve anything that we put our minds to. Next, we must develop the mental attitude in which we can visualize our success, and then we must act. Finally, we must expect that we will experience these results and be grateful for them. Only then will we be truly satisfied with life, and realize that our existence was designed to express justice, compassion and peace in the world.
