Happiness - Finding Happiness Is All In Your Head

Happiness is not a goal but an byproduct of our actions and thoughts. I believe happiness is one of the most important values to be instilled in our young and growing children. If you are not happy then neither will your children be. They need your love, support, and guidance as they grow up. Happy childrens' leads to happy adults.


What exactly is happiness anyway? Many parents think that happiness is being successful at work or managing a household. While these may be true aspects of happiness, there's a much more important component to happiness; the emotional aspect.

People tend to confuse happiness with achievement. Yes achieving an education or becoming an engineer will make someone feel good. But achieving peace, love, and wisdom will lift their spirits and give them a deeper understanding of who they really are. When people attain their goals they feel like their work is really worth it. They have succeeded against all odds and they understand how fortunate they are.

Happiness is not just about having material possessions. Happiness is also about the satisfaction we get from doing what we enjoy. Most people live unhappy lives because they are not enjoying the things that make them happy. They sit around and worry about the bills, the car payment, or what new job they have. Their lives are empty. They do not have the happiness that comes from spending time with friends and family.

We all know what it's like to go through difficult times and be down. But when we allow ourselves to be miserable, we take away the happiness that could be found in turning the page, reading a book, or seeing a beautiful sunrise. Happiness is about turning everything upside down to find the light and beauty in the darkness.

True happiness isnt found in finding happiness in material possessions. True happiness isnt found in becoming wealthy or famous. It's the satisfaction of the work done that brings the happiness. It is the knowledge that one has done what is necessary to create a meaningful life, one that will bring joy for others and pleasure for one self.

You have to take action to make true happiness possible. You can sit around and dream and think about what you want. But actions always speak louder than words. If you are unhappy with your current situation, take an honest look at your life and determine what changes need to be made. Then commit to changing those actions.

Your actions will make a difference in your happiness and your future happiness. When you decide to build your own happiness, your dreams, and your happiness you will find that the Law of Attraction responds by bringing exactly that to you. The Universe will help you through the hard times by supplying you with opportunities and help where you need it most. You just have to keep that belief in mind, and remember that all good things come to those who wait.

Think about what you really want from life. What would you like to change about yourself? What would you like to improve about your life? Think deeply about these questions and ask yourself how your answers will affect your happiness.

A common belief that many people believe, is that happiness is showing up and being accepted by others. Happiness is not about having more possessions, it's about treating people how you want to be treated. People can teach you everything about being happy and living with happiness, but your actions are the only way to truly manifest those things. No matter what anyone says, you can make someone happy if you choose to do so.

The Law of Attraction holds the key to changing your life. Whatever you focus your attention on vibrates through you, sending happy "tones" throughout the universe. Focus on your goals and desires, and allow the energy to flow freely through you. Pay attention to the happy "tones" as they flow through you, and reward yourself when you meet your goals.


Attending to the little things in your life is an important aspect of happiness. You have to stop and look at the good in all the small things. If you notice a negative thought or comment, change it. It doesn't take much, and soon your "life" will be filled with positive thoughts. Soon enough you'll find that your "happiness" has just been replaced with happiness.
