Underated games - One Finger Death Punch

At it's heart this is such a simple game, just two buttons required to play it. Attack left and attack right.

That simplicity may put many off but in reality it hides more depth than you imagine. It also builds to a frantic pace that at the start you would never believe you could handle.

Each level has a number of opponents rush at you from either side of the screen. When they are within attack range you simply press to attack in that direction. Once you have dealt with all the opponents the level is done.

Initially opponents take one hit to die, but this soon builds such that you need multiple hits in various patterns to drop them.

There are two types of 2 hit opponents. One just takes two attacks in one direction to die. The other will dive to the other side after hit and you must then switch attack side. All enemies are variations on this theme.

On top f this you have weapons lying around you can use and boss like opponents that take many hits. There are skill level ups and the game gets harder the better you are at it.

It is really a rythum game and just so well packaged. Dirt cheap but if you wait for the steam sales you can get for next to nothing.
