Gozo is an island of the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is part of Malta. After the island of Malta itself, it is the second-largest island in the archipelago.

The Gozo Channel Ferry is the main link from Malta to its sister island, Gozo. As there is no airport in Gozo, the ferry offers an important link between the two islands.

There you will find nice beaches such as Xlendi beach. Xlendi’s sandy beach is popular among families due to its shallow waters. Once a Roman port, the bay is the location of many shipwrecks. A rocky outcrop provides perfect conditions for snorkelers, divers or those looking to catch some rays of sunshine. Friendly restaurants and vendors service the bay, maintaining a tranquil ambience.

You can also have a good time at Marsalforn Bay. Marsalforn Bay has a small sand and pebble beach surrounded by a number of hotels, restaurants and bars offering stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea. Providing further sunbathing and swimming spaces is the bay’s encircling rocky coast where one can dive straight into the deep blue sea. Snorkelling and kayaking are both popular activities in Marsalforn Bay, with several scuba diving schools located in the area.
