Steemit - A blockchain based social media platform

Steem was created to empower people across the world and incentivize good discussion on the internet. The underlying technology is open source and free for anyone to build and enhance upon.

I dig the concept and been researching about the Blockchain technology that is the digital glue of sorts to that holds Steem together. I do hope it can become a way to cash out directly through Steemit rather than depend on a Bitcoin exchange.
