Wat Saket or Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok. They used to call it the Wat Sakae during the Ayutthaya period which started from 1351 to 1767. It has been beautifully preserved over the centuries due to constant repairs and renovations. Within the wat complex, a man-made hill was created called the Phu Khao Thong. Every November, a candlelight parade is being done by the people and they walk from Phu Khao Thong to a chedi.
