The success of reznor made "The Downward Spiral" as a conceptual album and became a successful influence for the musicians of American musicians at the time, even Axl Rose "Guns N Roses" fired all the crew of band personnel and confined themselves in the studio as did reznor at home artist sharon tate in order to get sound influence as obtained NIN.
