Jack Johnson is an American singer, born on May 18, 1975, which carries the folk rock genre. In 2001 he gained commercial success on his debut album Brushhfire Fairytales.
Before plunging in music, Jack first plunge into the world of film and producing, play in several films. While attending school he majored in cinematography at the Universty of California. Despite a successful film career, but Jack didn't want to exist at one point only. Musical desire tried to be developed by making a song. Jack himself learned to play guitar at 8 years old and began writing songs at 12 years old.
Jack once made a band called Soil during college. But there was no seriousness and forced the band to disband, in addition to music Jack who was born in Hawaii also has a hobby to the level of professional surfing. In his spare time he often joined the race and repeatedly bring home trophies.

Jack also postponed all the series of tours and donated some of his property to victims of the tsunami Japan.
