Cranberries - Biography

Aghhhh, the time really feels so fast. It was just yesterday, on the sidelines of a school break one of the friends brought a guitar and asked whether to sing along singing songs The Cranberries. With the capital magazine Hot Chord containing a collection of songs The Cranberries and guitar keys, we were singing together sat in the area of

the school park while enjoying the atmosphere.  

Sometimes something simple but extraordinary happens at a time and will be a memorable moment, something personal for us. So also when listening to some of The Cranberries music that I have liked since childhood (my brother who introduced it). There is a memory when the song of The Cranberries is heard again, reminiscent of the band's songs are often played on the radio, especially Zombie songs, Just My Imagination, Animal Instinct and Ode to My Family.

Cranberries, originally from Ireland, was in shape in 1990 and has 4 members, with a singing female vocalist Dolores O'Riordan. If you still remember, the video clip "Zombie" is often played on television around 1995 (if not mistaken). It was then until several years later some television stations often deliver music clips at any time, as well as many music events that play many video clips of songs. If now it seems a little different trend, the show music but a little music .. hmmm.  

Did you know that the two members of The Cranberries, Noel Hogan (guitar) and Michael Hogan (bass) they was a brother, initially formed a boyband along with Fergal Lawler (drums) before joining Dolores O'Riordan as lead singer and songwriter. The beginning of the band's success began when the song "Dream" was released in September 1992 which then came first after being re-released two years later. The song "Zombie" on the second album (No Need to Argue 1994) later also followed the first position and triple platinum less than a year since the release.

The four members of The Cranberries personnel are from the same town of Limerick, Ireland. Even according to one source, they not only come from one city, born in the same city, but also born in the same hospital that Limerick's Maternity Hospital in the 70s. Dolores O'Riordan also knew there was a band singer audition from her schoolmates, and she was eventually elected to the band as a vocalist because of the sounds that were in her possession very distinctive. Even the sound of Dolores can not be denied is the biggest attraction of this band.

Unfortunately Cranberries career was not so long ago at least in just 12 years since its inception in form, even The Cranberries took a break before the 90s. The reason for this is the shock of the unexpected success of The Cranberries. Their normal lives suddenly highlighted many cameras, even the vocalist needs assistance from a psychiatrist to deal with panic attacks (Panic attacks). Dolores said that at the time she could not cope with the intense media attention at her young age, she was 18 when she joined The Cranberries.  

In 2004, The Cranberries decided to vacuum and also the start of Dolores's career as a solo singer. In 2009 they decided to reunion, and three years later released the album "Roses" (2012).
