Bullet For My Valentine is a Heavy metal band, was formed in 1998, Bridgend, Wales, UK, by 5 students at a music studio on their campus, Brigend College. The initial name of their band is "Jeff Killed John". They started a career in the music world by playing Nirvana and Metallica music, they have the support of Greg Haver, a record company producer.

"Jeff Killed John" recorded six songs that didn't get released, two of these tracks are reproduced later in their career as Bullet For My Valentine. Financial difficulties make them have to change their name, followed by changing their music direction as well. In 2002, the band made a safe move with a five-album recording deal with SONY BMG. They say that their music is influenced by heavy metal bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer.

Reassembled under Bullet's new name for My Valentine with James on board, the guys repeated their voices and were signed on their second show by London's Visible Noise. They released their self-titled EP in the UK in November 2004, and their full-length debut, The Poison.

Their First album, "The Poison" was released on October 3, 2005 in the UK and February 14, 2006 in US, to align Valentine's Day with their band name. The album entered the 200th ladder on Billboard America at position 128. The album is also in GOLD certification by The Recording Industry Association Of America, May 2005 saw the Trustkill-based band sign, re-releasing the EP, entitled Hands of Blood, in August. The same year they won Kerrang! 'S Best British Newcomer Award and the title of the tour magazine XXV. With February 2006 came the US release of The Poison, followed by a nationwide tour to support Rob Zombie before Bullet for My Valentine returned to the UK in June for their third duty at Download Festival.

This album was released on October 3, 2005 through "Visible Noise Records" in the UK, and on February 14, 2006 in the United States through "Trustkill Records". The album included 11 new songs and two previously heard songs, "Cries in Vain", which had previously heard of them "self-titled EP English" and from them in the US EP, "Hand of Blood", and also from "4 Words ( To Choke Upon) "it had previously been included on the same US release. The different edition of this album contains the song "Hand of Blood", previously heard from this EP, replacing "Spit You Out".

Their second album, "Scream Aim Fire", was released on January 29, 2008, and for the first time it was ranked fourth on the Billboard top 200, Since its release.

Their third album, "Fever", was released on April 26, 2010 and occupied the third spot on billboards 200. The band has sold over one million copies of their albums in the United States and two million more copies worldwide.

Bullet For My Valentine - Venom [Full Album]

Their second and last album under the label. This is the band's first album since the departure of bassist Jason "Jay" James, which was announced in February 2015 when the band recorded the album. Jamie Mathias was announced as his successor on May 18, 2015, along with the album title, release date and release of the album's first single, "No Way Out".
