Hey there friends and followers. This February I happened to be in Koh Phagnan Thailand, home of the famous Full Moon Party. Every full moon thousands of people flock here from around the world to party on Haad Rin's Full Moon Beach.
Personally I'm not a big partier. In fact I seldom drink. This night I stayed awake with coffee and water documenting the event from sunset to sunrise. This series of videos will bring you the real life captured detailing what it's like to be here and what it's all about.
Besides capturing all sorts of wild stuff on camera I interviewed dozens of party goers asking them two questions; where are you from and what is the craziest thing you've seen tonight. I'm not going to downvote this cause I admire you traveling around the world but this video is disgusting. A bunch of young lost souls getting high all night long while listening to the too loud & pretty shitty music. & the peak of the night is fucking behind the rocks while everything around is pissed & shit upon, dirty & smelly?! Fucking tourism! Why do tou show this kind of bullshit?!

I think absolutely the same brother.
There are so many things to show of such an event (even if I would never go to it because of the touristic aspect and the destroyment of mother nature) but interviews with drunken tourists is really not something valuable.
I would love to see spiritual people walking around there and giving interviews (I know there are some) or interviews with locals and how they see this spectacle. Or images of the trash laying everywhere to raise awareness or whatever..
But every creator shows different stuff so no offense @world-travel-pro
btw. the blonde girl in the beginning: I am pretty sure that I have met her in hungary last year on the sustainable, clean and nature-respectful S.U.N Festival directly in the woods without all that tourstic shit.

During the interview with those 3 poor bastards from Australia / Canada, you can see a bunch of trash wrapped in plastic bags lying on the floor in the right bottom corner of the screen. 😕
Except the Croatian trashy places similar to this one, I've also been in Goa, India & was working as a photographer on various events in various beach bars & mostly it was similarly disgusting.

Thanks for the comment brother. I didn't pick up on too many spiritual people at this event. Unlike most people I did not go to Koh Phagnan for this party. I actually enjoyed the Island for about 6 weeks and happened to be there during the event.
I was thinking, here is an opportunity to create some unique content for my blog and I had a good time also, in the way one would enjoy going to the circus. I have a way of getting my mind in the right place and just going with the flow with out passing too much judgment. I think it comes with over a decade of travel experience seeing all different walks of life and cultures.
But I do prefer the island when the party is not happening. Also the west coast is all chill, yoga, spiritual people and I spent a lot of time there (keep an eye out for my zen beach video). Regardless I suppose I shed some awareness on something with this video series. Thank you for watching, and wow what a small world recognizing that girl! Have a great day- Dan

Thanks ET. That is what I set out to do. So much more interesting and real life blog post to come. Curretnly venturing around the Island of Bali with my Balinesian friend Guita. These video will certainly give you an idea of the real Traditional Indonesian Bali and the tourist side too.
Why do I show this? Because it is real. Look at my blog, and I show the reality of travel and the world. Good, bad, and ugly. If you want to see the world through "everything is wonderful glasses" you can find that in just about every other person's travel blog.
I try to keep my opinions of others and how they behave outside of my blog allowing the viewer to form their own opinions. Im glad you have shared yours and I understand it.

You are right! Maybe I overreacted. It's because this kind of shitty tourism is happening in my homeland too on few locations & I was also writing a negative articles about those places.

That's great that you quite smoking and drinking. Too bad this kind of tourism is infiltrating your country too. I was not there to criticize people, I was just there to document it so you could criticize them for me! hahaha. I really am not promoting this behavior, or at least that was not my intent. In fact I give a summary of my own experience in the final part I'll be posting in a few days. I think you will find in interesting.

Viewing everything through rose colored glasses is what other bloggers offer....misleading their audience to what a destination is truly like. However I do choose destinations to visit where I can live well on little money and enjoy myself, so my blog is often naturally positive. But if I find my self in a real lousy place whether it be a restaurant, hotel, or city....I let it be known.
You should see me complain on camera about Santiago Chile and Latin America in general after getting robbed, then catching the robber and getting my stuff back! lol
