Here are Some Random Photos I Took While Hiking In the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador!
Oh San Cristobal, that was a really cool couple weeks spent in the Galapagos. I found these photos on my computer from almost two years ago! I was going to make blog posts out of them but it just has not happened until now. Shame on me.
About 1,000 kilometers off the coast of Ecuador in South America are these Islands. The Ecuadorians own the Galapagos and when you visit; all the people, towns, food, and culture are Ecuadorian. A lot of my Real Life Captured photos highlight people and culture; but these photos highlight some of the the other inhabitants of the island.
I'm talking sea lions! They are everywhere! A lot of these photos were taken in the main town of Puerto Baquirizo Moreno. The sea lions are the original inhabitants of the island and they have no problem sharing it with us humans! There are not too many places in the world where you literally feel like you are living inside the zoo! But the Galapagos certainly gives that kind of feeling.
These photos are going to give you a good idea of what it may feel like to walk around this interesting place from the main town, to some nature hikes, to a volcanic creator lake near the center of the island. This is the place where Charles Darwin came up with his theory of evolution. It's an incredible and unique spot on the world map. Now come along and lets have a closer look at San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos!
THANK YOU
