Welok Harvest

We plant this vegetable fruit in backyard. Simply grow with organic way. We almost known as "Welok" or "Labu Siam" a Chayote vegetable.
This plant can grow with free just like a wild plant, grow and vines to the wood if tree or just in a pillar stand.

We usually eat this fruit vegetables as a dishes, or just be boiled and the we can eat it. The young leaves can used as a dishes too.
This plantation can used as alternative food in our home. That is so healthy because growing with no chemicals, easy and simple grow with an organic way.

We can harvest the Welok in every three days. That is cheapy of food. Food source near arround our home.
Buah manisanya bagus bagus
We found these in the Thai mountains last week for the Lisu vegetarian cooking class! If prepared well they can be really delicious, as well as nourishing. The Lisu sliced them into tiny strips and then stir fried with garlic and small wild mountain tomatoes. Delicious!! Sometimes the food of poor people is the best!
