Day-891-Freewrite Sunday prompt hatred
Below is my five minute #freewrite in today's prompt: hatred

There's not alotta foods that I don't care for, I didn't get to be four hundred pounds because I don't enjoy food, but if I had to name a food that I had a hatred for, it would be barbacoa. They slow cook beef cheeks and put the meat in corn tortillas. I blame my dad, when I was young he brought home some all "beef" tacos, I took a bite and something was off. I told my dad that it didn't taste right, but he told me to just finish it. After we had breakfast, my dad told me what part of the cow head I ate. I think I was traumatized by that information as I've never had barbacoa again, and I'm 62. Debbie likes it and sometimes orders one while we're out having breakfast. I used to have a problem with menudo, but once I had a bowl that was prepared correctly, I was hooked. Maybe the barbacoa wasn't cooked correctly, but I never gave it another chance.
