THE DAIRY GAME : HAD A SAFE JOURNEY FROM NAVRONGO BACK TO ACCRA AND ON MY WAY, HAD A HAIR CUT..

I deem it great honor to share with you my fellow steemian how my journey back to Accra went. It is a very long distance from Navrongo to Accra. A whole night journey for that matter. Let’s take a look at some of the activities that transpired

As we all know, it’s vacation time for some tertiary universities for which my school is inclusive.
I bought a VIP bus ticket for the journey. It was time for departure. I went to the Navrongo VIP STATION to board the bus. The bus then set of at Thursday afternoon 1:00 Pm..

On The VIP Bus Going Back To Accra

As we were about to enter the Bolga Town, the migration officers on the Bolga Navrongo road stoped our bus for a check. We got down and showed our various IDs.

After that, we were allowed a by pass. Normally the bus reserves sites for those in the neighboring towns. So we went to the next town to pick the remaining passengers.

The next town was Bolga, very nice and big town with lots of infrastructure, business activities etc.

When the bus packed, I saw some fruit and meat seller just beside us. I got down and bought some banana and some meats for the trip. It’s such a long journey so it’s much more advisable to get some food by your side, so in case you should get hungry, you have food by your side.

The bus was set and full now. We then set of for our journey. After some few hours drive, we came to a food joint. Most passengers came down to get some stuffs. Some bought and ate there, others bought and ate in the car, and others kept for later. I on the other hand wanted a special food which Lies ahead of us. There is this special resting location called Lindadore ….. It has a lot of food joints. I wanted to buy from there…

After some few minutes of break, the driver blew his horn for everyone to come onboard, then set off…

We got to another location where where there was a filling station. For the fear of running out of fuel, the driver decided to fill his tank. Some passengers used to opportunity to visit the wash room. Those who needed some items also visited the bay to get some.

Visiting The Mart

After some long hours of drive, I began to feel sleepy. I then adjusted my sit and feel asleep. I was somehow nervous though 😕. Driving all night through thick forest was scaring me out. But all the same I managed to have some rest.

Along the line, someone’s phone was ringing. It kept ringing for a while. We all thought it was someone’s alarm. To everyone’s surprise, one passenger was missing and it was his or her phone ring.

So it was then we called on the drivers attention. It’s probably that the passenger got down at the filling station and didn’t come back on time. It was too late though, we didn’t return to pick him. That’s one thing I fear the most when traveling. Lest mistake and you’re left behind.

The phones ringing tone really disturbed my sleep. It really interrupted it but all the same I tried to have more rest. It’s was dawn and almost sunshine .

Finally we have arrived. We arrived around 8:00 in the morning. Such a successful and safe journey.

I then took another car home. Opon arrival at the station, I decided to get a hair cut before I drop😉. I spotted one barbering shop just close by so I went there to get my hair cut.

I then went home safe and sound.
