Fifty runs till May #21
Another Sunday ... another Runday!
This was the weather when I woke up today. The mountains that I posted on Friday in my Picture of the Day, were hidden due to the grey snow clouds. The snow is still falling slowly.
A week ago I posted run #18 for Fifty runs till May and I said that, this is what it's all about. Well, after another nice winterweek, today proved again to be one of those really challenging winter-runs. When I woke up it was snowing outside and the temperature was -1 Celcius. I find it easier now to get into the winter-runs as I know that once I'm into the run, you barely notice the cold anymore.
I dress for the challenge. I love the stuff from Odlo, it's functional, looks good and make me feel like a professional
I was with the same neighboors again as in my post from last week. Here is the link to that post: https://steemit.com/fiftyrunstillmay/@wolfje/fifty-runs-till-may-18
Today proved to be another challenge. We always take the same route and this involves in the beginning to start with a climb of almost 40 meters in the first kilometer. Today this climb was accompanied by a strong headwind, direct in our faces. I think we had a slow start because of this. Our pace was nice and better than last week, but as we had a slower start (to our feeling) we ended at almost the same time as last week.
We finished the 10,75km in 1 hour and 3 minutes, just like last week.
This is what this challenge is all about, whatever the weather, we keep going!

Keep on running!
Thanks! Well I have to with the weather over here. I'm going to do a post about running gear in the near future.
Nice one! It's quite challenging in the cold but have you tried in the snow? So much fun!
Last week we did a run in partial snow, but not enough to call it real snow. It was very muddy and not much fun at all. Maybe it's better on normal roads. Where do you live?
I live in the Jura mountains in France. Yeah it's better while it's only snow for sure. Here we have about 10 cm and it's great to run still
