If we live rightly, we may all be successful.

There is no real excellence in all this world which can be separated from right living.

Over the years, I have come to understand that as human beings, we have different perceptions about life and these perceptions are formed from the different backgrounds, religions, education, experiences etc we have had and been exposed to. Knowing this, I have come to respect how different people think about and see life, how ambitious they are and how big they want to become, and how conservative and simple some people want to and have decided to live.

There are different definitions of success in life which I believe are formed from the perceptions we have. Although we sometimes undergo paradigm shifts when we see things from the perspective of other people and if they appeal to us, we may form new perceptions about certain issues, we still thrive so hard to achieve success, fulfillment and happiness in life which may be considered as intertwined.

But regardless of what our perceptions and definitions of success are, life would always have its ups and downs. There are times things would go on fine and when they won't. Living right at these low and high states of our lives would depend on the firm principles and values we have.

When things are not going fine, we should endeavor to subdue the desperation of making it too quick by cutting corners, going through the process and learning all there is to learn, doing everything in all honesty and patiently waiting for the success we crave for. And when things turn out to be fine, we have to remain humble, not diminishing the dignity of people who look up to us. Living this way is not easy but taking conscious efforts to admit our mistakes and correcting them as much as we can, would make them become our habits and easy for us.

In consequence, at the end of it all when we have tried our best to live right- giving cheerfully, obeying rules and regulations, following due process, working hard, the list goes on and on- I believe we would most likely look back at those days in happiness and fulfillment feeling successful.
