The DiaryGame (18-01-2024): A condolence visit to my colleague’s place.

Hello friends and family members in this amazing ecosystem. Accept warm special country Cameroon.Once welcome to my blog as I share with you people my routine for the day. Today was my off day in school and of course was happy to have some resting moments for myself at home .

Even though, it’s was not a good day for us because one our colleague.lost her daughter in the hands of cold death the previous weeks living in USA. The daughter was buried in USA the previous day in USA.It’s not really easy to take the shock as parent,we are really feeling her pains .At same time who are we to question than to intercede for the daughter soul to keep resting in peace .

We already planned the previous with some our colleagues to pay our colleague .Who lost her daughter a condolence visit at her place at 3:00pm.Early in the morning at 6:30am, I was already up from bed .Places are very cold but I have no choice that to do my house chores .I prepared my son for school and prepared breakfast for my family .After my husband assisted to keep our son to school.

Luckily I had enough leftovers food in the house and I didn’t spent again time to cook food.Around 2:00pm, I freshened up and left the house to meet with my other colleagues.At the venue we arranged to meet in town together to go to our colleague place for a condolence visit.

I took a cab to the venue in town we agreed to meet ,everyone was already .As I arrived we handed our contribution in an envelope to hand it to our bereaved sister .We were six of us in number ,next we to a cab straight to our colleague place .While our colleague was really down and looking Peel .She was so happy to see us .We condoled with her with words of encouragement.

At one point it’s was not really easy on her as she was still feeling pains about her daughter’s death.There was enough drinks and foods to eat .Seriously there was no appetite for me to eat I managed to drink juice .After spending some time with our bereaved colleague we had leave.

It’s was already 5:00pm,I separated with my colleagues and took a cab to my destination. I arrived home when it was already 6:00pm, due to traffic. My kids were already sleeping while my husband was busy following AFCON (African nation cup) football match going on .

I was tired and could not stay up for long to follow up the football match on television. At 7:30pm, I ended my day by going to bed to take a nap 😴.That how I spent my day at my colleagues place for a condolence visit.May her daughters soul Keep Resting peace 🙏.Also,May God find a way to comfort her and the family.
