This precious bundle of happiness is particularly special to us.
We first met Peyton's parents, Lauren & Taylor Liston, when Lauren's Dad tracked us down all the way from Bentonville, AR (about 100 miles away) and asked us to photograph his daughter's wedding.
We met them for a wedding consultation on a cold day in early 2015, and brought our own 1 year old son along because someone (coughMamacough) couldn't stand to be away from him for very long.
They were probably the warmest and friendliest bunch I've ever met, and I will never forget how Lauren, her sister, and her mother swooped up my tiny baby and soothed him when he fussed so I could continue talking about portraits. They are a family full of so much love!
We became instant friends, and since that day we have been honored to have the Listons and the Shepards in front of our cameras for several happy occasions.
Watching this happy little group grow reminds me why I love my job as a photographer. ❤️
Today, I got to meet the newest member of this wonderful family, and fell instantly in love. I just can't get enough of these baby snuggles!
Say "hello" to Peyton "I Wait For No One" Liston, 6 days old and almost 3 weeks early! Congrats, Mom & Dad!

She's only six days old, though sometimes I wish the 6 month olds we photograph would sleep so soundly. haha! She was so sweet & squishy! I love newborn babies!
