Gratitude Day 37/62: Time
Hello, its #gratitudeday37. Thanks to @tojukaka for coming up with the gratitude challenge you can join by going through his gratitude day introductory post here to know how to participate
Today i am grateful for the gift of time. Time is of great importance to existence. I'm grateful i have achieved quite a lot of set targets at its set time. My goals are time bound and the timing of my set goals enables me to put the much needed work to achieve it.
I thank God I have finally been able to put together a piece about the clock in relation to time. It was difficult to bring this poem from where inspiration is communally stored. Pheeeewww. You have it now, i hope you will have a good read......
The Clock
Like an old deity,
You hold the fate of the world in your two unequal hands.
Hewned by skilled men
Into squares, circles, triangles & rectangles,
You tick at the hour of our birth, at the minute of our death and when new lineages spring.
Creature ranked insignificant,
It is you who tells with your orbital motion,
What complexion earth's face wears, per time.
In your tireless trek,
You wait for no one & all we are subservient to your unseen but divine power.
The clock marches on
And tells of joy and of sadness.
The clock speaks on "tick - tack", "tick-tack",
And foretells the future.
With the numbers that stand around it,
The clock is the key to beginnings & ends.
Time is something we have in abundance but if we don't use it wisely we May wind up with nothing.
We have a lot to be thankful for
Yeah thanks for stopping by
Time is a great factor we should always consider in life. There is a good lesson to learn from this. I love this and how you incorporate it to poem.

Finally, time is the most important gift of all. Nice poem, by the way. It didn't really flow for me, but I could see and feel the time and energy you put into writing it, from each line
Thanks for stopping by I'll put in more work
