Structure one
This is one of the first entries in my current series of paintings. This was a very quick painting that took me about an hour to complete. I started painting it not really knowing what I was doing. I started out with just a simple grey and white geometric composition and then slowly started to add in the warm and cool colors.
Near the end I found the piece lacking so I added the red crosses to give it some contrast. If i could use one word to describe the creation of this piece it would be impulsive. There was almost no planning involved and the whole thing unfolded in the moment, free of control and assigned meaning.
Here is an up close image of the tearing technique I have been using lately. I have been using it in pretty much all of my newer painting because I really like the torn paper effect it gives. It reminds me of pages in a book.
What do you get out of this painting? Let me know in the comments below.

Great, thank you too!
As a watercolor work it's really good one. And it reminds me to some old western movies with some mexico scenery..nevertheless, really good work @william-syrus.
Thank you @jungwatercolor. I can definitely see the resemblance to western movies now that you mention it.
