WOJ BOMB: Phil Jackson soon to be gone !?
League source has told the vertical that the New York Knicks are planning to cut tie with Phil Jackson after the dismal season and worsening chemistry between the team, carmelo and porzingis.
Jackson has struggles to make any progress for the knicks, with three year records of 80-166. While he insist to run the triangle offence, most of the time, the team looks confused or refused to run. And during his tenure, he has failed to connect with his coaches derek fisher and now jeff hornacek.
I expect Jeff Hornacek will soon be fired as well, let see.

Yeah this is the best thing about steemit, isnt it? There are many writers here basically cover everything and then you could interact the authors in person and learn? I wish i have this kind of site 10 years ago and i am sure i will be alot more knowledable.
Good for James Dolan to part ways with Phil Jackson. Amazing coach and philosophy; not so much with basketball operations and personnel acquisition.
He made some iffy acquisitions last year with the likes of Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose, and others. Even this year's draft is in question! How do you not draft Dennis Smith Jr. if you're the Knicks? Malik Monk?
Reports are also leading to the Knicks organization looking to pursue Toronto's (my team!) Masai Ujiri as the replacement for Phil. I would say no to this! We NEED him to run our team - he established an amazing culture for the city, the team, and the front office. He has great support from the MLSE, good control and a lot of flexibility from all facets of the organization.
Even if Masai Ujiri has the slightest of interest, I do not see him going forward with the move!

You are absoultely spot on about the pick, i am sure mark cuban is laughing his ass off and charlotte also stole monk. Raptors have been doing pretty good lately by getting ibaka and pj tucker even he may not come back, but half year loan with a late second round pick so the wisdom of how the team should run.
100% agreed. Oh man Dallas has some depth at the PG spot! Dennis Smith Jr., YOGI, Seth Curry! Definitely like that pick for them, especially with small ball dominating the league! They can be versatile enough to have some combo guard line ups.
Charlotte and Malik Monk is also a good fit. Definitely some scoring alongside Kemba to alleviate the offensive load.
I do NOT know what the Knicks are doing. Drafted Frank Ntilikina? I can't really say much about him, but why? Does Phil Jackson not like Porzingis that much? Just joking, but still.
That's true. We have good assets. The biggest domino effect though is Kyle Lowry's free agency decision. If he stays, we continue building; but, if he goes, I say we just start rebuilding, trading all our core guys and playing young.
I think dallas last year paying barnes is a good decision, if they dont pay him, nowaday it is getting hard and harder to get players in free agent market, think about even crabbe and tyler johnson would demand 15m+. I heard NYK is looking to trade porzingis to the Suns for the 4th pick + young star. I mean NY always try to make a move but if they keep calling their players off, i dont think other teams wiil pay them for high price. And the reason to pick the french guard over DSJ is because he verbally told phil jackson that he can play triangle :).

Phil jackson is a disaster but that does not mean there is no responsbility to their current coach jeff hornacek. The team is poorly coached. He had done it in pheonix when i think messed up the chemistry and now similar thing happen to new york, you should write them a letter :).
