Steem Monsters – It Is Not Your Ordinary Old Cards Game|斯丁姆怪物 – 这不是你的旧款手卡游戏

I want to make a confession here – I fell in love with this @steemmonsters !

Reason – Oh well, since I was a teenager, I used to play the famous “Magic: The Gathering” cards game. For those avid MTG avid fans – you know how expensive the cards (Sometimes, the very limited edition can cost up to thousands of dollars each!)

Since I graduated from college, I haven’t touch MTG for years. However, after I read @fundurian post yesterday, he said that he bought a “Steem monsters” card – it’s quickly catching my attention.

Without wasting time, I hopped into the Steem monster’s website - https://steemmonsters.com/ Once I reached there – I immediately login and bought a “starter pack”.

For those that having the same interest with me, you can check out the below step-by-step procedure to purchase the starter pack:

Step 1 – Use your Google Chrome/Firefox/Internet explorer/Safari browsers, type in the website https://steemmonsters.com/ When you arrive at the main page, you will see the blue colored flying dragon.

Step 2 – Press the “Log In” button on the top right and key in your Steemit’s username and private posting key (Reminder: Never key in your main password or private owner key!)

Step 3 – Now, you will see the starter pack which is sold for $5 each. You can choose to pay with one of the digital currencies: Steem/SBD/Bitcoin/Litecoin/Ether/Bitcoin Cash/Monero/Dash.

Step 4 – I chose to pay with SBD and press the green “Purchase” button. Before you make the payment, it will show you the total price of the digital currency you chose. In this case, I decided to pay with steem connect, because it’s safer and hassle free.

Step 5 – You will see the usual “Do you want to confirm this operation” box pop up, just click “continues” and process the payment.

Step 6 – Voila! You’ve got yourself the very first Steem Monsters’ starter pack!

The moment I received the starter pack, I made a screenshot on it. Based on my observation, the starter pack is best for those that want to kick start on Steem Monsters.

It has all the 5 types’ elements: fire, water, earth, light and dark. Each of them is equally with three cards. It’s much the same with MTG concepts.

There are eight cards for common types and seven rare cards. When you’re getting stronger, you will need lots of gold/legendary cards.

Steem monsters first tournament still not open up yet. It will begin once the pre-sale is totally completed.

So, if you don’t want to miss out the pre-sale opportunity – right now is the best timing to buy your first starter pack!

I can’t wait for the tournament to begin, it reminds me of the fun time, when I first played MTG during my teenager moment.
