La celosia, appartenente al genere Celosia della famiglia Amaranthaceae, è una pianta ornamentale nota per i suoi fiori vivaci e la sua forma insolita. Originaria dell'Africa e dell'Asia, la celosia è diventata popolare in tutto il mondo per la sua bellezza e la sua capacità di aggiungere colore ai giardini, ai vasi e agli arrangiamenti floreali.

Le piante di celosia presentano foglie di colore verde brillante, ovali e che si alternano lungo i fusti. The celosia, belonging to the Celosia genus of the Amaranthaceae family, is an ornamental plant known for its vibrant flowers and unique form. Native to Africa and Asia, the celosia has become popular worldwide for its beauty and its ability to add color to gardens, pots, and floral arrangements.

Celosia plants have bright green, oval leaves that alternate along the stems. The flowers are the true focal point of this plant, with dense and showy inflorescences that can take on a variety of shapes, including spiky (as shown in the following photo), crested, or spherical. The colors of the flowers range from red, orange, yellow, pink, to purple.
