Vanilla cookies 🍪
Vanilla cookies are delicious and sweet. I did them as a gift for my grandparents on grandmother and grandfather day. When my grandma put the cookies on a table next to plenty of other sweets 🍬 I was very happy to see that my cookies were disappearing first. Everybody was looking into an empty bowl and asking if there is more of these cookies. These delicious sweets made a big sensation and I hope that it will also do in your homes. I recommend doing them because they are easy to prepare and incredibly delightful.
Ingredients
- 400g of powdered sugar
- 700g of wheat flour
- 3 eggs
- 300g of margarine
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Preparation
All ingredients pour into a bowl and mix them. When the paste begins to stick put it on the pastry board and knead it until all ingredients are properly mixed. Then put into a fridge for 30 minutes.
Nextly roll out the paste to a thickness of about 4mm (0.16") and cut out with molds (I used with ready shapes and patterns).
Put the ready-made cookies on the baking tray and bake in the oven preheated to 180℃ (356℉) for 12 minutes. Then remove and cool. Cookies prepared in this way can be decorated with icing or chocolate. I recommend the latter option 🙂.
