What is eosDAC ? | EOS mainnet Launches

eosDac is a community owned block producers on EOS platform. When EOS mainnet launches on June, EOS holders can vote for block producers. If you vote, the token will be locked for 3 days. Currently, eosDAC is trading in BiBox, Etherdelta or fork delta. EOS is delegated proof of work consensus model, block producers replace the concept of miners as the custodian of the EOS network. Block producers improve EOS network and ensure block production efficiency. eosDAC community provides DAPPS and utility based used by members. Block rewards will be payed out to eosDAC holders

The top 121 candidates will be ranked by the number of votes they receive. The top 21 will be classified as block producers, actually produce blocks and the next 100 will be known as Standby Producers. Consensus methods- Bitcoin coin proof of work, Ethereum proof of stake, EOS delegated
Proof of stake, added to asynchronous Byzantine fault tolerance. Block producers will be rewarded through an inflationary system. When new blocks are created, new EOS tokens will be minted and distributed. The amount of inflation is determined by the block producers. The payout from the inflation will be spread out between 121 block producers with a skew towards the top 21 who will received the majority of the payout. EOS new blocks will be created every 500 milliseconds, the geographical distribution of network help maintaining the speed and efficiency of the EOS network.
