[CR] Creating your own style...

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

Obviously the time where art was considered and judged by this or that style is over.
Today, with this mix of people and tools different kind of expressions are showing that labour the fields of creativity. That means "style" has just become another tool of expression.

To judge the worth of todays visual statements that are based on the artist's skill to manipulate composition, color, form, rythm, you have to take into account the artist's sensitivity to create different visual styles to conceive his very own work of art.
That's why it is so difficult speaking of Digital Art as this alone would indicate a new "style".

Thanks to the internet, as we look over each others shoulder, the most important question concerning digital art is not how it looks, but who is making it and why.
This kind of digital aesthetic that can be seen everywhere speaks to our contemporary culture and hopefully people working in this field contribute to this development with their strong artistic statements.

And never forget: The better you look the more you see

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Finding your own style in art is very important, but it think that personaliy plays a big role in that.If an artist does not have a strong personality and opinion that differs from the usual, can not really stand out. This is maybe the reason we are living in a mediocracy and actually see it being promoted. Amazing artwork as always:)

"The only meaningful life is a life that strives for the individual realization — absolute and unconditional— of its own particular law ... To the extent that a man is untrue to the law of his being ... he has failed to realize his own life's meaning.” Carl Jung

It is very striking, I like that the color of the frame combines so much with the work. Really this is a unique style, I do not know, what do you think before you start doing it? that is, I compose, and if I want to write a romantic piece I imagine a scene with "she" or that has to do with "her". There are times when some melodyes lead me to write just for fun and imagination, maybe something similar to the second happens with you and your works?

...a genuine work of art should not require a preamble of art history in order to be enjoyed, thanks.

Strangely... beautiful

...nothing fits, but everything works...thanks.

Hi Werner, that is really beautiful, the whole composition is mystery, beauty, something that just caught the attention and makes to spend hours just trying to read the painting. Really nice!

...thanks for stepping by.

It's interesting the struggle of finding integrity in art, and I think it's a struggle that is both very personal and very public for a lot of artists.

Your works are very creative, as always. There seems to be a bit of a dark commentary in these pieces.

...thanks, it's not wether you won or lost but how you played the game.

Wonderful view of the digital artworld and really the realm into which we are all currently living more and more @whornung and it is true that to find oneself is important and I find that finding is not always as hard as continuing to hold onto oneself.

Wonderful piece as well.
