Education existed since from inception of the early men which is the stone age. Th use of symbols in their caves was a form of education. Since then, education evolves through the ages and generation. It began from the invention of symbols as a form to communication to the more advanced one. One similarity about all form of education is to create awareness. In this article, let’s dig into the relevance of education.
Why education is significant in our lives?
Education is very significant in our daily lives because it basically shapes our daily lives. Here is other significance of education in our lives:
- Trimming our excesses: In this aspect, the excesses refer to those unwanted qualities caused by ignorance. These excesses can affect an individual general performance in the public. To avoid any embarrassment, education come in and takes care of this issue.
- Leverage purpose: in our society, we realize that there are classes which rise from the issue who is educated or not. Education can help make up for the leverage by turning the non-educated to the educated ones.
How do you classify education? Describe
Education particularly in Nigeria is classified into four categories which is Pre-primary, primary, secondary and post gradates. Let’s break it down:
- Pre-primaryThis set of students are those in the creche and nursery sections. The age requirement for this section is 1-6 years.
- Primary: This class of students who ranges from primary 1 to 5 or 6 in public primary schools. The age requirement is from 6-11 or 12 years old.
- Secondary school: This student are people ranging from the class of Js1 to Ss3. This are the upcoming big boys and girls.
- Post graduate: It refers to the programmes offered after secondary school session. It includes BSc, master, PhD and other programs.
Do you believe besides institutional education, we have a lot of other educations that are equally essential? Justify
Beside institutional education, there are only educations like vocational education, traditional training, etc. This form of educations has the potential of develop the child in its known field or area of action.
According to you, which education carries value in life? Describe
For me, I think vocational education is the best. In our contemporary time, we believed that institutional education is the pass key to wealth. But the truth is that it helps solve some issue like language barrier and the theoretical part of life. Vocational education on its part help the individual to identify meaningful opportunity and the urge to venture into it. These opportunities open a door for establishment for the individual involved.
