Getting ready for Spring and Barbeques
I'm very ready for Spring and BBQs even if they are in my own yard.
I was doing a little yard work today and hanging my spring lights, but all the photos turned out crappy,
After a long winter and feeling claustrophobic this Spring beautiful weather has hit and I plan to spend a lot of time outdoors this year.
Also good news on the Quarantine front, the curve is flattening and I expect we will get some of our freedoms back soon.
I am not denying the virus was serious, but as I have been saying at some point we will have to get back to life. Hopefully we can adopt some common sense approach of slowly adding to the workforce allowed to work and socializing in small groups.
For now I have accepted it will likely not happen until May, but I am about out of patience for the total Stay Home orders.

Just get some meat and you'll be fine.
Time flies to fast anyway.
This virus BS will be soon forgotten but they destroyed the economy.
What do you mean by BS?
Don't follow just MSM. Check how Sweden dealing with pandemic, for instance.
I think certain areas have been impacted pretty severely, despite how MSM and other countries have handled it. I live in a virus power zone right now, have had it (12 days in right now), and people in my building are getting hit with it. My neighbor is a COVID-19 nurse and she has told me first-hand of how unbearably bad it is... She told me last night she came home from work three times this week and just cried because of how sad it is.
From a perch in a relatively unaffected or safe area with low numbers, it might be easy to have that view. When you're in the storm and see/hear/feel it first-hand, I beg to differ.
but they destroyed the economy.
(pssst..I think that was the whole point of the exercise...)
You're not the only one. ;)
That's great, your optimism is contagious! I can't wait to start grilling with friends again.

Enjoy the BBQ at least now in your own yard. :)
May 4th, was the latest date the governor tossed out there.
My main concern now is the damage to the economy. We may be self-employed and working from home, but the people we service are losing their jobs, and reluctant to spend money on anything other than food and essentials...
