Goodbye STEEMit, hello SteemPeak! #steemhostiletakeover

Hello Steemians, crypto enthusiasts and everyone outside of the crazy and never-boring crypto sphere!

If you are into cryptocurrencies and you have a Twitter account, you probably didn't miss the boom story about #steem and #tron, aka @justinsunsteemit.

For those who don't know, Justin Sun (JS) bought Steemit.inc and pre-mined stake from @ned thinking that he bought the whole blockchain and telling us immediatelly about his plans of switching tokens, etc.

Even tho' the whole Steem community welcomed JS in a nice manner, things started to escalate very quickly after some doubts about him started to turn out true.

A lot of people in crypto sphere doesn't like JS because he literally doesn't understand what decentralization means and how much is important. Steem community knew that but it welcomed him very nicely at the beginning.

After initial doubts, witnesses of Steem blockchain wanted to be sure that Ned and JS didn't make some shady deal so the softfork was implied until JS answers all the calls for having a conversation with community elected witnesses.

As JS has big Ego, he saw this as an attack on himself and he started to vote for witnesses (after he colluded with exhanges) to pave his way through our blockchain and feel mucho important :)

Little did he know that this community is something special and we don't bend to every dollar and penny thrown at us so we rejected his plans of centralizing the blockchain and bailing out the exchanges.

We all know what happens when you bail out banks...

Anyway...

A few weeks are now already behind this nonsense and the fight is still on.

Steem community wants to be decentralized and JS wants to bail out exchanges and compromise the safety of our blockchain.

These are the reasons why I will not use Steemit.com anymore. The fact is, I never liked it and I was a victim of my routines so I used Steemit always.

From now on, you can find me on Steempeak. That's where I will post, comment, read and curate. This is my new crypto home.

I call anyone from Steem who trully cares about our blockchain and not how they will make money and feel special, please stop using Steemit and use other Steem platforms as eSteem, Steempeak, Busy,...

We are lucky to have great devs to choose where we want to spend our time and a great community that is passionate and will fight for its rights!

I has a great time on Steemit but change is here. This will be my last post on Steemit. I just need to login on my mobile device and I am ready to go!
