A Simple Process

I eventually came to see how (myself very much included) we have a tendency to overcomplicate what are otherwise fairly simple scenarios; that we actually put obtsacles in our own way.

There are numerous reasons why we do this, but no matter the cause I think it's important to I remember that if we look at a problem without adding any unecessary complication, then the solution will often remain simple as well.

That is a very true statement! I know there are times I get fixated on a problem and it blinds me from the simple answer. It usually dawns on me but it'd be nice if it came sooner.

I know what you mean :) For myself I find I sometimes don't always want to deal with a problem so I overcomplicate them as an reason not to solve them; but in the end I usually get there :)

So human this tendency. For whatever reason we have that tendency to turn things into a story. I think ... I think ... I have made some progress in this area. As long as I have had my coffee:)

It is certainly a step by step thing. Peeling back the layers to find the centre so to speak :)

The never ending onion peel ... one should expect tears, I suppose:)That is what I will say the next time I have been crying and someone asks what is wrong ... I'm okay. I just peeled back some of my onion. [smiles]

LOL I thought you might find it useful! Well done!
