THE DIARY GAME: 23/04/2021-Steemit
Hello dear Steemians, it's a pleasure to reach you all out today. Hope we are all doing well. I present to you my diary game of today, as I woke up in the morning with my normal routine of praising and thanking God for another new day and little morning chores.
At about 8:30am, I received an invitation letter for working session on Wast Management in our quarter by the Women in Action against Gender Based Violence (WAG) in collaboration with the Quarter Head, supported by Japan through UNDP.
The project was all about promoting waste separation at generation point including households and work places. Tt was learned that, the sorted biodegradable waste will be composted in chosen sites by the quarter if possible and exploited by farmers in the said quarter. Plastic transformation initiatives will be promoted also to absorb cans/tins plastics to reduce their circulation in the environment, swamps, streams, gutters and canals. The concept was built on 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) of waste management.
•Reduce simply means managing and minimizing our waste at source.
•Reuse is managing our waste products to use as "manyur" to grow farm products. And
•Recycle means Separating waste at generation point to keep our environment clean and fit for human habitation.
Participating in the workshop will permit me gain knowledge and become a Green Ambassador. In this position I will carryout sensitization of household and workplaces in the quarter.

Wow one quick question why is this gender base violence thing always looks at the female sex too much? Does it mean the male genders don’t undergo violence too? The work seems productive cuz we face a lot of problems with dumping of waste. Please ambassador them well to give a change in your community
