Outdoor Improvement

One more before bed...

We've been trying to get some grass to grow for years, but for some reason it never would. Our property is on quite a slant, so when it rains, it's a river! Being outside gives me a reason to focus on nature, and less on my Ms...so winner winner.

We basically just used a small tiller, threw out some seed, layed out straw, and will be hoping for the best...

Hopefully this will help control the water run off, and give us some nice grass to walk on. I'm curious; have any of you tried some home improvements that came out like you'd hoped? Look forward to hearing some stories!
