Is it possible that our universe is a computer simulation?

It is highly likely that the universe we inhabit was created and is being run by external players, for the following reasons:

1、Speed Limit of Light: The maximum speed in our universe is the speed of light; no material object can reach this speed. However, this limit seems incredibly slow given the scale of our 90 billion light-year universe, where light needs 90 billion years to traverse. The speed of light, as a constant C in our universe, appears to be a parameter preset by a program, similar to game settings. The only ones who could set this are players from a higher level.

Quantum Entanglement: It's inexplicable how a pair of particles can instantly spin up or down regardless of the distance between them, without physical connection, and unaffected by the speed of light or distance. However, if this were a program setting, it would make sense since external players could disregard distance, akin to pointer mapping in code.

Conservation of Mass-Energy: The principle of energy conservation has evolved into the law of mass-energy conservation. If mass and energy are conserved, nuclear fusion is merely a transformation between energy and mass without an increase in total mass-energy. However, the universe has been expanding since the Big Bang from a singularity, becoming ever larger and more mass-energy rich. This is hard to explain with dark energy theory, but if dark energy is something created by external players, it all makes sense.

Age of the Universe: The universe is determined to be 13.8 billion years old, yet observable to be over 90 billion light-years in size. Its expansion speed is equivalent to three times the speed of light and accelerating, which contradicts the limit of the speed of light. Nor can it explain what existed before the universe began. If interpreted as a virtual scene created and initiated by an external source, it would be reasonable.

Human Intelligence: Earth has been around for 4.6 billion years, and humans for 2 million years. Yet, intelligent life didn't appear until the last 2 million years, with civilization only emerging in the last few thousand years. Since Isaac Newton published "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy" in 1687, proposing the three laws of motion and universal gravitation, real human science has only been around for over 300 years. With civilization accelerating multiple times in just a few hundred years, it's hard to imagine what 2 million more years of development could bring. Are we really just lucky to live in this era instead of being flora or fauna? It's more likely that we're part of a particular group of players.

Concept of Time: Does time really flow uniformly? Near the speed of light, time dilation and length contraction occur. So, is the universe's 13.8 billion years really that long? It could only be a few hundred years if controlled. Time can speed up or slow down at the will of external players.

Observer Effect: The double-slit experiment shows that the outcome differs with and without an observer. When observed, interference patterns don't appear, but without an observer, they mysteriously do. This contradicts the wave-particle duality of light and suggests particles being observed might have consciousness or the ability to detect observation. This would make sense if set by a program.

Quantum Superposition: Before observation, particles are in an indeterminate state, which becomes determined upon observation. This is similar to unvisited game areas not allocating resources until accessed, a method to save resources. From this perspective, the notion of external player control becomes more plausible.

Human Origin: Did humans truly evolve from fish step by step? How do we explain the simultaneous appearance of modern humans (originating from Africa 200,000 years ago, outliving other human species) in several geographically isolated regions 2 million years ago, with the same genetic grouping? Why do humans look the way we do, with complex structures and intelligence? Why do the gods worshipped in the East and West resemble their respective human creators? Was the creation of humans by gods or by Nüwa purely fictional? If different players created humans in their image and introduced them into the virtual world at a specific time, everything could be explained.

Artificial Intelligence: The sudden surge in AI development in recent years, entering mainstream life with ChatGPT and Sora appearing within a year, and its rapid learning, suggests that humans could soon create an AI world in a virtual environment. In this world, people would have thoughts, consciousness, and cognitive abilities. If this is achievable, then by deduction, our world could also be a virtual creation.

UFO Mystery: Based on tens of thousands of UFO sightings, it seems extraterrestrial beings and civilizations exist. However, it's strange that if their civilization level is similar to Earth's, they couldn't reach our planet, just as we can't travel to stars light-years away. If their civilization is far superior, why haven't they attacked or destroyed any part of Earth's civilization in hundreds of years? The most they do is allow us to watch from a distance, with observed UFOs and aliens not exceeding our understanding. Compared to alien theories, explaining these as external players makes more sense, occasionally introducing NPC characters to lighten the mood.

Fata Morgana: While most can be explained by complex optical systems involving atmospheric refraction, reflection, and a special combination of suspended particles and moisture, some rare phenomena exceed current scientific explanations, such as ancient people or clearly non-Earthly scenes appearing. This could likely be a bug in virtual 3D scene modeling.
