Happy Halloween- a coin for every occasion
Each year, on 31 October, Halloween is celebrated in the United Kingdom, United States and in many other parts of the world.

The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, where people wore costumes and lit bonfires to ward off ghosts. Modern celebrations are aimed at frightening friends and neighbours.
Issued in 2018 by The Royal Mint, Mary Shelley's best loved gothic novel has been brought to life with Thomas Docherty's dramatic coin design. It featurs the words 'Frankenstein' in an electric gothic font and an edge inscription which reads 'A SPARK OF BEING'.
Released to coincide with the 200th year anniversary of the novel, this amazing silver, Peidfort coins is struck from .925 (sterling) silver. This £2 coin has a 925 inner-core, surrounded by a 925 outer-core plated with 999 fine gold. With inly 2818 Piedfort coins made, these are pretty sort after by coin collectors, movie lovers and bookworks alike. Its actually one of my favourite designs on a £2 coin, and circulated cupro-nickel coins are getting hsrder and harder to source from your change.
