A decent Ebay buy...

Ohhhh the joys of having children!! Finding yourself awake at all hours of the night can seem like a nightmare to most, but if i must be awake while the rest of the UK is fast asleep, im going to be looking at ways to make a quick buck to ease my sleepless night pains...

I bought 3 little lots on one such late night time search of Ebay, and they all arrived while we were away last week. Now i dont advocate buying coins, and especially silver/gold, from Ebay as there are some scrupulous sellers out there. Luckily for me the proce i paid for each auction was low enough to negate any large risk, and Luckily they all arrived safe and sound.

First lot was a steal.... obviously i mean metaphorically!! I did pay for them. All silver, some 50% a few 92.5%, all going in my ever growing collection. The 50%ers will go in to my ever growing demi-jar, which i hope to fill by the 3nd of 2022.

Most of the lots consisted of non-silver coins, but still had a few gems amongst them. Im particularly drawn to these Victorian pennys. Some are in good to fine condition, one or two might even be better.

Star find in the bag was this 1889 victorian beauty. Ill give it a good going over tomorrow and see of shes worth anything.
