Noise ◘ NOISE ◘ Noise ^^^

Unwanted sound is referred to as  noise . In recent years, noise pollution has been a hot topic for discussion among researchers. Continuous or short-lasting noise can be harmful to health. Some music fans say that intermittent noise is not serious, but that is not true, even intermittent noise can adversely affect long-term human hearing. Common sources of noise include vehicle traffic, manufacturing plants, and household appliances such as vacuum cleaners and musical systems.

Noise pollution can affect us in several ways,  There are many examples:

  Hearing Problems

Exposure to noise can destroy one of the most important organs of the body namely the ear. Hearing impairment due to light pollution can be temporary or permanent. When the volume exceeds 70 dB, it becomes an ear noise. Noise levels above 80 dB produce harmful effects on the ear. When the ear is exposed to extreme loud noise (over 100 dB) for a long period of time, it can cause irreparable damage and permanently cause hearing loss.

Poor Cognitive Function

With constant exposure to noisy noise, the ability to read, learn and understand significantly decreases over time. Problem solving and recall capabilities may also decrease due to repeated bombardment of noise. Noise pollution can increase the rate of personal error as well as impede your productivity in the office. Research has shown that children who study in an irritating environment tend to exhibit relatively low cognitive function compared to the quieter areas.

Cardiovascular Problems

The nuisance environment can be a source of heart problems. Studies have shown that high intensity of the sound causes a significant increase in blood pressure as noise levels reduce arteries, which impedes the flow of blood. Heart rate (number of heart beats per minute) also increased.

These sudden abnormal blood changes increase the risk of cardiovascular disease in the long term.

 Sleep Disturbances

Difficulty sleeping due to high decibel noise can deter your overall well-being. It is known that noise can interrupt the sleep of a good night, and when this happens, the person feels upset and uncomfortable, often resulting in extreme fatigue. This can greatly reduce a person's ability to work efficiently.

Communication Problems

A noisy environment that produces more than 50-60 decibels does not allow two people to communicate correctly, and may lead to misunderstanding and social dissonance.

 Mental Health Problems

Exposure to loud sound can lead to high levels of stress as well as stimulate violent behavior. Persistent noise can cause headaches, making people nervous and anxious, and disturbing the emotional balance.
