You must have seen a item from them, as it is so common these days. Today I will be showing how Samsung began.

Early Ventures

First beggining as a trading company long ago in 1938 by Lee Byung Chul. Its first main building was in Su dong near Daego city in South Korea. He had forty employees and his main job was the production and distribution of groceries in Daego city. The company soon began to grow and in 1947 he bought an office in Seoul. After this he later created a sugar refinery, after a very short space of time this venture succeeded and he created the countries largest wool mill in Daego city.

Lee was a very ambitious man, he started to delve into other forms of business including insurance, securities and retail. He wanted Samsung to be the leader in all business aspects which almost came true. Although primarily not starting as a technology company this slowly shifted in 1960 and started an innovative thrust into the technology industry, by seeing the impacts of Samsung today we can tell that this was a very great idea. The main point was creating innovative products and they tried their best to do so, quickly creating a black and white television set.

Great Success

They decided to buy a great telecommunications giant, Hanguk Jeonja Tongsin in 1980. This further helped them embark on their illustrious technology journey and they soon started to create telephones, fax machines and switchboards. They soon changed the company name to Samsung Electronics Co., LTD. Sadly aged 77 in 1987 Lee died, this did not dishearten the Samsung company as they grew to even greater heights creating subsidiaries.

The most notable of the five would most definitely be Samsung Electronics in which I was describing today. Only being listed as a subsidiary because the Samsung Electronics Co ., LTD was not the label on most Samsung phones and greater technology.
