Ive never meditated by @minedovermatter has, and he has told me that is not about trying to GET information, its about letting yourself RECEIVE information, and whatever you need will come to you.
What most people call god is actually super luminal informational light. That might some like a bunch of new age nonsense, but your DNA is actually an antenna for reciving this information.
When your dna is damaged, it is not able to reicive the information properly.
There have been studies of plants that have gone extinct, suddenly growing again when are they immersed in whats called a strong SCALAR feild. Alexander Golod in Russia discovered this when he was doing pyramid research.... Some food for the thinker.
