How I get to know about Tron and why I love Tron blockchain.

I began to study Tron Blockchain after joining this platform. I notices we usually receives TRX as a form of author reward which is exactly the same ratio as the steem power. I wanted to know why this happen since base on my little knowledge then, Steem blockchain and Tron blockchain are two different blockchain.

I started by downloading TronLink wallet with the help of the link provided in the TRX section in my wallet. After downloading Tron wallet I successfully created an account, receive my keys and I began to explore my Tron wallet. What I discovered was mind blowing, I learnt about the various categories of dapps built on Tron blockchain and also how easy it is to send, receive TRX and even stake your TRX by voting for a SuperRepresentative (SR) and earn TRX from it. I will briefly explain some of the functions TronLike wallet can provide:

-Send, Receive and store TRX: These are the basic function TronLink wallet can carry out. Sending, receiving and store of TRX has been made very easy through the use of TronLink wallet. You can also swap TRX to other token as send to any address of your choice, everything done in just few clicks.

-Staking TRX: This is one of outstanding function on TronLink wallet where anyone with TRX token on this blockchain can mine TRX by staking and voting any SuperRepresentive of his/her choice.

How is this done?

First you need to stake you TRX into both Energy and Tron power. This will give you access to vote and the number of vote is relative to the amount of TRX staked.

After staking, click on the vote option on the homepage, and select any SuperRepresentive to want to mine for you indirectly.

SuperRepresentive are select every 6 hours base on number of vote so after the mining process is done, each user who voted a selected SuperRepresentive will be given TRX based on the number of vote as a form of return of his investment.
NOTE: Staked TRX will be frozen form 72 hours.

Dapps built on Tron blockchain: They are many dapps who operate on Tron blockchain and all serves different proposes. Explanation below:

-Game Dapps: These are decentralized games played on the blockchain and players can earn from playing this game. In game character are brought with TRX and leveled up and can be sold for a higher price so basically you can play your favorite game and be making money while doing so. Some of these games include Blockchain Cuties, Chainz Arena and Chibi Fighters 2.0 my favorite and many more.

-Exchange Dapps: This are built to easy any conversion, sending, receiving, staking, borrowing of any form of TRC token all over the world with relatively small or no transaction fee. Some of these Dapp are SunSwap, TRONLENGING and JustLend.

-The Other category: These are Dapps that cannot be placed either as a game or exchange. An example is a Tronscan which is use to lookup any Tron related transaction and all necessary information will be provided.

Tron NFT market place: This is the latest market place I recently know about and it ease the sale of NFT with relatively low gas fee. As seen witness this past months that NFTs are the new big aspect of crypto and the Tron blockchain has made it ease the sell and buy of this unique art work.

CONCLUSION

Joining steemit platform has been my best move in the past 6 month and this has massively improve my knowledge on crypto, blockchain technology, DeFi and many more. This knowledge is largely due to my participation on homework task from this community.
