It's NOT Chicken! PERUVIAN STREET FOOD + SACRED SUSHI 🇵🇪

Pisac, Cusco is a great option for a day trip from Cusco or even a base to explore the Sacred Valley on the way to Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu. It's a lovely small little town while surrounded by mountains and along the river.

Pisac is famous for its Sunday Market and turns out, maybe a Sunday fun day after all. So many things are going on on Sundays! Pisac Sunday market is one of the most famous local markets in all Cusco. All the fresh produces, local Peruvian fruits, vegetables, and the best part, Peruvian Street food!

I ate Caldo de Gallina at a local street food stall. I thought I was eating some kind of very delicious chicken but no, it was Gallina! or Hen :) Then headed straight to Pisac Local Market for some fresh juice.

For dinner, I went for sushi at Sacred sushi and curry Sunday. Like its name, only open on Sunday! It's all vegan! Kimchi sushi, miso soup, chocolate mousse.. This is a hippie vibe kind of town so the sushi place and many other shops around are unique! Not to mention a really nice hostel I was staying at, El Parche Rutero Hostel with all its namaste vibes.

Unique! Visit Pisac when you visit Cusco, Peru. You won't be disappointed.
