Here's a Long lasting oil-control Translucent Powder you girls might love.. or not? A product from a Thai brand, Srichand Translucent Powder.

I have such oily skin. The nightmare's started since I was a teenager. It's so annoying as I think it's one of the things that causes acnes. I was dang ugly with the small red dots all over the face. Any facial wash wouldn't help as after a few hours, the oil make it way through. Of course, if you'd like to get rid of that shine during the day somehow, some helper needed.

Either wash your face again and again during the day which is not possible for all the females out there. You got another layer or so on your face and it takes forever to put that layer(s) on.. Oil blotting paper once every so often or here, easy peasy one or oil control powder.

Srichand

Srichand is a Thai brand that's been around for over 70 years. They're pretty famous for their all time best oil-control facial mask powder. After the re-branding a few years ago, they launched the cosmetics line which also includes the Long lasting oil-control formula products. Yes, I have tried it.

Srichand Translucent Powder

As mentioned, I have oily and acne-prone skin and always want to get rid of that shine. Not the easiest way but it's pretty quick and easy to do so. I have been switching between this all-natural talc free baby powder and Srichand Translucent Powder. They have their own pros and cons.

• Baby powder smells nice and. It's much cheaper and made of all natural ingredients. Though, your face turns pretty bright and white afterward.
• Srichand Translucent Powder give such fine texture, not too bright but it contains something you might not like, Talc! The price is of course, way higher yet affordable.

Srichand Translucent Powder comes in such a pretty package. All the flowers and golden leaves. I gave it a go as it claimed to be an oil-control powder, Fine and silky texture, Suitable for all skin tones and it's pretty affordable. 280 THB for Translucent Powder (10 g)

My thoughts on Srichand Translucent Powder

I use it over my face after I put all the make up on and sometimes, during the day if I don't feel too lazy. They give a nice fluffy puff but I think I prefer to use my own powder brush. That way, I don't over use the product and have my face all too bright and white.

Wait.. I thought it's translucent powder..?

I actually don't think any product could be 100% translucent. This Srichand Translucent Powder still give a brighter look. It sure absorbs the shine right away as you know, it's powder!

I always put it on after my organic serum foundation. I think it works okay together. I also love the facts that it's Paraben & Fragrance free. Though, first ingredient is talc and I know it's been a big concern.. Wait.. Is Talc in Makeup really Bad for You?

According to the American Cancer Society, talc is not a known carcinogen, and while asbestos-contaminated talc is a danger for talc miners or other workers who come in contact with natural talc fibers, it is not a concern for cosmetics.

No fragrance, no paraben.. Awesome! Thumbs up! But talc..? After some quick research about talc, I think it's still a myth if it's really bad or not as cosmetics ingredient. I haven't finished the whole one yet. It works quite okay as an oil-control. I just purchased another brand a bit ago but still use this Srichand Translucent Powder once in a while. Re-purchase it or not, let's see!
