... It's a fruit!!! Weird one but still, it's a fruit! Custard Apple or Sugar Apple.. Weirdly hearted shape. Pretty green and annoying hundred seeds all in one. The taste is uniquely sweet and a hint of sour. Sometimes you feel that sandy kinda texture.
You don't find this in all the markets in Thailand but it's not that rare. These ones found in that one cool old-school market in Ayutthaya, Kong Khong Market.
I love it for its taste. I hate it for its seeds.

We have that in Taiwan as well, but shape is round and tidier, doesn't have that lump at the top like yours. Hence sometimes its called Buddha's Head if you can envisage it
