A COTTAGE BY THE RIVER - $26 a night OYSTERS included

After all the fun and delicious seafood treats at the authentic fisherman island 'Koh Phitak', Chumphon, Thailand. We head to Arunothai beach to stop by our favorite fried chicken spot. Then, ended up spending a night in the area. A cottage by the river just 2 mins motorbike ride away.

We're so lucky finding the place. It's just right by the river 'Pak Nam Tako'. Beautiful nature, best sunset, and sunrise, they say. The host at A cottage by the river ('Baan Mai Plai Nam') was the kindest. Some snacks in the evening, free epic breakfast and guess what, oysters! All included in the price of $27 (800THB).

One surprising thing about it, no tourists at all! It's a rare find! Non-touristic places in Thailand.. Truly local.
