DASH Gateway Launched In Waves Client
The new crypto gateway will enable users to deposit, withdraw and trade DASH on Waves' built-in decentralised exchange.
A DASH gateway has been added to the Waves Client, allowing anyone to deposit, withdraw, hold and trade this well-known crypto securely and trustlessly.
DASH is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies and the foremost privacy coin. Starting life as Darkcoin in 2014, the project since rebranded as 'digital cash' and with its masternode implementation, mixing and instant send functionality has grown to become a $4 billion market cap initiative with a thriving community and a bright future.
DASH can now be deposited to a dedicated Waves gateway, where it is securely held and used to back DASH tokens 1:1 on the Waves blockchain. These can be stored in a Waves wallet or traded on the built-in decentralised exchange (DEX) against bitcoin, WAVES or any other token in the Waves ecosystem. The Waves DEX allows near real-time trading and blockchain settlement for ultimate security. Traders can withdraw their DASH from the gateway at any time, sending it back to an external wallet.
