Bitcoin.global sells for $9,440
The new TLD registry .global, this week sold the domain name Bitcoin.global for 8,000 EUR, which at the time of sale equates to 9,440 USD.
The rise in the price of Bitcoin has seen increased domand for crypto related domain names and thus prices for key terms in the space are faring well.
The uptake of the new top level domains overall has been underwhelming, especially considering the initial hype and predictions surrounding their release. Despite this, the word Bitcoin boosts the domain price of whatever domain extension it is combined with.
Hahaha bitcoin takeover this is nothing that we have yet to see with bitcoin classic!
Thanks for reading @dado13btc. No doubt that as long as Bitcoin rises, so too will the prices of crypto related domain names.
