Watersnake101 pop corn munching time ep. 8 - 'Shot Caller'
Bonjour Steemians! Prison life is hard can't imagine being in prison. Where you watch your every move and don't drop the soap. I still remember the first prison movie I watched "Locked Up" starring Sylvester Stallone. I was just a kid and never wanted to experience prison life. Thus I bring you "Shot Caller" by Ric Roman Waugh. Man........ Ric has this thing for prison movies he did "Snitch" I think this is the third prison movie.
Awesomeness to the highest level. We have Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on the lead role. Jamie Lannister ( my favorite anti hero character in GOT) bigger badder he even got his hand back. Just look at those tattoos hard core Jamie can take on Euron Greyjoy and kick his ass. Credit to Euron by the way he cemented his character in GOT. Well enough about GOT we are here for prison. Story as it goes Jamie got into an accident which killed his friend and got him into prison. This movies show how a mild mannered family man evolves into a hard core con. Forced to join white supremacy in order to survive in prison.
In addition we also have the Punisher Jon Bernthal how awesome is that? Not sure about his role in this movie I didn't bother to check. We just need to watch it to find out.
It's great not to get too much information on the movie. We just need to know if it's worth the time is enough. Although I love cinematography which I usually look out for in films. I took up a little class in film during my college days. Had a video rental business for seven years. Doing nothing but watching movies the whole day for seven years. What's important is " Are you Entertained"! Is this a movie to watch at the cinema or just watch it at home? Let's go to prison with Jamie and the Punisher.
