Evening at the West Tech Assembage
Just a few nights back we were in attendance of the West Tech Assembage held in Government House in Perth, WA. It was a really great event to interact and meet some of the State's brightest and innovative individuals and companies.
This is an event that has been going on for 5 or 6 years now and it brings together the brightest and creative all in one room to see what may transpire. It was the dream of the founder to see if all these people can actually make something happen as a group rather than as individual units in their daily routine.
I like the fact that the local government was also involved along with big universities to show the bridge in the union between academic, politics and business.

Overall, I felt that I really got the chance to meet some hidden gems and inventors who are just so passionate that you cannot help but feel their energy flow on to you.
There was this gentleman who works 9 to 5 each day same as a regular person but when he gets home and over the weekends he would work on his inventions till 2am in the morning and he even holds 4 patents on some items. Unfortunately I cannot disclose what they are due to privacy agreements but I am just glad I got the chance to meet and hopefully we will have other projects together in the near future.
Steemit is a great platform and I would love to see more science and technology featured here as well. In the essence of what Australia is trying to achieve - that is to export Australian Innovations.
