Abadía de Dunfermline
Una de las últimas visitas que hicimos, casi de casualidad, en nuestra visita a Escocia fue la de la abadía de Dunfermline.
Se trata de una abadía que se comenzó a construir en el siglo XI ubicada en la ciudad que le pone nombre y que tiene como mayor atracción ser el lugar donde se enterró al rey de los escoceses, Robert the Bruce. Su tumba se encuentra debajo del altar de la iglesia más moderna, aunque su cuerpo no tiene corazón, ya que este está enterrado en la abadía de Melrose, al menos eso dicen.
